Purpose

To be the vital lifesaving "link" between those who so desperately need blood and blood products and those generous individuals willing to donate.

Responsibilities

Community Outreach Volunteers help save lives.  Volunteers are needed at our community donor centers and at community events to educate and motivate members of the donor center community to donate.  Training is provided.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills.  Friendly, outgoing personality.  Passion for the saving lives through the blood donor program. If you like people and appreciate a unique opportunity this is the one for you.  Spanish speaking ability is a plus.  Just 2-3 hours one evening or weekend day a week is all that is asked, but we are flexible. (No Mondays) Note: public or personal transportation is required.
