…those don’t sound fun and you probably won’t stick to them. We want you to be happy and healthy in the new year, so we suggest this as a realistic New Year’s resolution: donate blood.
Donating blood is easy and it’s sure to be a resolution you can keep.
Every two seconds, someone needs blood. Around 38% of the national population is eligible to donate, but only 10% does.
As a blood donor, January – National Blood Donor Month – is the time to spread the word to your family and friends. Share your New Year’s Resolution and encourage others to make it theirs! We’ve made spreading the word about being a blood donor easy – display your donor pride on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter by sharing one of our shareable badges. Use one as profile picture or share on your wall.
Don’t use social media? That’s ok! To celebrate National Blood Donor Month, all participating donors throughout the month of January will receive a Proud to be a Blood Donor window cling. Stick this in a car window and show everyone around town that you’re a donor!
Thank you for being a donor! We celebrate you during National Blood Donor Month, but we – and patients who rely on blood donations – are thankful for you all year long!
