What is ISBT 128?
Originally the ISBT 128 Standard was developed by the ISBT (International Society of Blood Transfusion) for use on blood product labels. Today the standard extends to tissues and cells. The data structures developed are based on Code 128 bar coding and can be used with other formats such as RFID.
